How the times have changed from the "roll of film" era.
To capture light in a certain state, a certain mood, a certain exposure. Is this definitive art losing its gifted and well due credit? Desperately avoiding frostbite for that particular shadow to cast or the evening light to soften.
Digital photo editing programs world wide can make images seem much more than they are. This i know first hand as i played with one of Dan Johnson's images. Not to take credit from the many talented photographers using the digital mode of capture as one has to have the vision first hand and the ability to put oneself in the position for the ideal frame.
These images are not really what Dan saw or i envisioned whilst shooting. Rather it is a collaboration of my lounge room imagination and the computer in front of me.
